At Evergreen Optometry Clinic, we strive to provide quality customer service and the highest level of patient care by using the latest technology available.
Our clinic offers full comprehensive eye exams for kids, adults, and seniors. We also offer same-day emergency visits, dry eye management, diabetic eye exams, glaucoma screening, surgery co-management, and a range of other optometry services to the community.
We love to get to know our patients so that we can best understand how to serve them. We specialize in clinical services (Eye Exam Only) and do not carry glasses frames or lenses; we do retail contact lenses. We have worked hard to partner with numerous local optical shops so patients do not feel pressured to buy in the clinic.
Conveniently located within a 2-minute walk from Broadway/City Hall Canada Line station and nestled between the vibrant neighborhoods of Mount Pleasant and Fairview, our clinic is situated to serve patients from all across Vancouver.

Dr. Shoujun Chen
Dr. Shoujun Chen spent his childhood in North Vancouver and grew up falling in love with this beautiful city we all call home. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Immunology degree from UBC and then went to the University of Waterloo to further his studies.
Dr. Shoujun Chen graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Doctorate in Optometry and is a part of the Dean’s Honors List. During his studies, he had the opportunity to work at a clinic that specializes in glaucoma and dry eye disease therapy in Salt Lake City, Utah.
In his spare time, Dr. Shoujun Chen enjoys spending time with his family outdoors and sharing his love of Vancouver with his wife and young daughters.
Dr. Shoujun Chen is a member of the BC Doctor of Optometry Association, the College of Optometrists of BC, and the Canadian Association of Optometry. Dr. Chen is fluent in English and Mandarin and can offer some services in Japanese.
