Comprehensive Eye Examination
The Canadian Association of Optometrist recommends a routine eye exam every 2 years for all adults between the ages of 19 to 64. For adults over 65 years old it is recommended to have an eye exam annually.
A comprehensive eye exam consists of two parts: a vision check and an evaluation of your eye health. We are proud to be one of the first clinics in Vancouver to offer Virtual Reality (VR) visual field testing* for the early detection of glaucoma and screening for visual field defects.
Your eye examination also includes fundus photography** where we take a detailed photo of the back of the eye as well as an OCT scan** which scans the eyes using advanced 3D technology.
Comprehensive eye exams will take approximately 30-45mins.
